We have had fun participating in the library summer reading program. The girls received great prizes for reading each day. They even got to pick out a book to take home and keep. Yesterday was the last day of the program and we had fun decorating the library sidewalk with chalk art. Daddy even stopped by to take our picture!
McKinley is getting to be quite the artist. She sectioned off her own spot and filled it with a rainbow, heart, star, and flowers. She also traced and decorated her own shoes! The best was when she wrote her name, upside down, and backwards, so that the end result was a perfectly spelled "McKinley" below her pictures. Crazy girl!
Addi ended up with more chalk on her hands, face, and clothes than actually on the sidewalk, but she had fun.
We love going to the library! Can't wait for the winter story time to begin!

I'm still a huge slacker when it comes to story time, but when we do go Rylee loves it. By the way, Rylee drew a picture and entered it in the fair and won a big blue rosette ribbon and $2! The cool part is that standing next to her big green tractor is her entire family, and McKinley. That must be why she won.
How did I miss this post? The girls look busy! And you are right about McK. She is a pretty smart little girl.
